I was enjoying using this app (most of the time) until I questioned my energy supplier about why they were paying me for less exported energy than the app was telling me. Their response was that the Enlighten app is not accurate due to the way Enphase calculates the energy exports. Disappointing. Also like other people have mentioned, the live screen often loses connectivity (though that would now seem irrelevant after being told it's not accurate anyway).

In two specific regards, we are disappointed with the apps capabilities. 1 Live reporting of Power is updated every second, but the accumulation of Energy is carried out in chunks of 15mins and fails to individually record Export and Import totals, only the net total is reported. Significant miss reporting results when higher power devices are used for shorter periods. 2 The configured Import and Export Tariffs, are disregarded when "Currency Conversion" is enabled. Meaningless data results.

For the most part the app works well, but there are some inaccuracies, it doesn't calculate your income correctly after you add your new FIT rate, it's difficult to set up your own custom period and if you contact enphase about these problems you get a response from someone who clearly hasn't got a clue.
