when you tap the directional pad even once ever so slightly it will keep scrolling very fast through the other options either horizontally or vertically. eventually stopping nowhere near where you want. it's as if you held the button down instead of tapped it guiding it in the direction you wanted. and then if you try to get back to where you were at it does the same thing. I would say 70% of the time this happens the other 30% it actually works as an intended

It's been average at best. I use it to come next to my TV. It always had issues not connecting but I put up with it. Then one day I turned my phone on and off and the fire app updated itself without my permission.... I have a Google pixel which has a built in VPN and the new app won't work if the vpn is on, so I literally cannot connect the remote to my TV without turning it off. This never happened in the old app. The app it's self seems to have more bugs with the different touch areas.

I have to change my review since last update. It's pretty cool being able to get to the apps through the remote, the layout is a bit meh with the volume etc on a different page. But the main issue is that the remote on my phone will no longer show in my bar up the top for easy access when I'm doing something else!!! This has seriously thrown this app off! I'm in a game and I can't just pull the top down to access it to change my music or change channels. It takes too long to connect now too.
