I've been using the app for a week or so and it is a good workout, I definitely feel fitter. It feels like I have been given a book with the first 20 pages missing though. I would like to see a description of the different stances just to understand the basic principles, and the description of some of the exercises is poor. All in all, I am enjoying the exercises and it is good supplementary training, but as a means of learning Tae Kwon Do from scratch it lacks the background information.

The workouts use high repetition of a few moves at a time. It's more updated than the TKD I trained in as a kid. No overly deep stance or lunge punches yet. I'm on pretty good shape, and I do quite a bit of kickery in my spare time, but the first beginner training kicked my butt! So why not 5 stars? Two reasons: 1) no technique tutorials, and 2) in browsing, some of the model animations didn't match up with the descriptions (a knife-hand block showed a poor animation with closed fists).

Good app, but not for beginner. There are some movements that aren't suitable for lower belts (such as spinning back high kick) which could cause injury if your muscles aren't flexible enough. The stretching part is not thoroughly composed, and the instruction is unclear. And the recent update showed only the right part training of the body, where is the left one? Please fix this asap. Overall it's a good app for practicioners who are familiar/experienced with taekwondo.
