Latest update: every song I've ever listened to on this app is now a 'liked song'. Every liked song appears when I press 'songs'. Annoying Every time the app is updated, it removes all my local music from the list so I have to uninstall and reinstall. Super annoying. My local music can now be played on Amazon Music ONLY when I select it from the files within my phone. Amazon Music then opens, plays the song, then bricks it. Super Super annoying In summary. Annoying

It cannot do the one fundamental thing a music player app needs to be able to -- reliably play back music without stopping. If the app is playing, and you put the phone down and just want to listen - it will eventually just pause/stop. Going back into the app sometimes makes it restart by itself, sometimes you need to hit play again. Seriously - this is the most infuriating app I have ever dealt with. And yes, I have tried every battery optimisation setting in Android. Nothing helps.

I was a loyal Spotify user for years before I decided to try Amazon Music for its superior sound quality. I figured that giving up my Spotify Wrapped and other features would be worth it. However, after two months of using Amazon Music, I found the experience to be excruciating. The app is incredibly buggy and slow; it constantly crashes and is not very intuitive or user-friendly. What’s the point of having better music quality if you can’t even listen to music properly? Back to Spotify for me.
