Have been using Hik-connect for years and I have to say I am very disappointed in the app, that in 2025; we the end users still can't select the playback footage speed on the app like you can when watching directly on the DVR! Even the budget camera apps have playback speed function. It's not good enough to just forward the footage by 10s or rewind. I want to watch atleast 4x the speed or faster to find an incident when away from home. Fix up! This should have been added years ago

I've had this for years but recently i am unable to watch notifications or look at live view through the app. it seems as though it's not allowing enough playback data in to be able to play anything. very frustrating, considering I've got cctv to watch out for thieves etc. please fix ASAP. It's happening on both mine and my partners Samsung S22.

The latest update is a big UX regression. I have multiple cameras, and the Home page used to default show me a small multiview of all cameras. Now, my device is collapsed & I have to manually tap to expand a list of cameras then tap to view. When viewing one camera, I can no longer consistently swipe to see the next camera. Opening the app from an alert notification causes the app to try and open in split screen (why???) and crash bc split screen is not supported. Last version was better.
