my experience with Lime over the past week: tried to rent multiple bikes at the same place, "Starting the ride" animation went on for 10 seconds, then went back to the main screen without any information. "Failed to unlock" multiple times. "Ring" a reserved bike didn't work. A seat collapsed to the lowest position as I was riding. And one smooth, no hassle ride, 👍

updating in 2025 to reiterate 1 star Map doesn't show "No parking" areas Trying to use it in London, lots of boroughs now have areas where you can't park the bikes but the app often doesn't show this on the map, so you only find out you can't park there when you get to your destination. It then doesn't show on the map where the "no parking" zones are so you have to keep riding and stopping to try and park until you finally end up in the right area. Makes usability a right pain

Thanks for the feedback Mike! Each city defines areas in which Lime vehicles cannot be operated or parked. We understand that this can be frustrating and designed the map in the app to show all relevant areas to ensure they are respected. Really enjoyed cycling these around London when they worked. Wouldn't rely on them. Couldn't find any bike that worked yesterday, even the one I used to get back to my air BnB. The trip didn't end despite taking a photo of my parking. Annoying. The app doesn't give good feedback either when things go wrong. So mixed feelings. Plenty of room for improvement but great idea.
