The best protection for young people. Yes it's tricky to get onto devices, takes time to set up, but it's far more secure than family link, which doesn't cover browsers other than Google and happily allows adult content to get through. This app has never failed to stop adult websites or messages from getting through. Worth the time and money after a horrible experience for my 11 year old last year, via whattsapp.

So frustrating. We (struggle to) use Q to keep our child from distracting websites during school and homework on Mac. But Q's website logging & blocking is very unreliable. Ex: today it just stopped logging or blocking twitch.tv. And sometimes it just stops altogether for days without alerting me. Support's typical answer is to reinstall Q to make sure it's on the latest version, but there's no way to see if it's already on the latest version. (And we're on the max subscription fee!)

Fairly pointless really. the app apparently updates on the kids phones at least once a week and at that point requires them to accept the new permissions or the app fails to work any more. So effectively, once a week or so, the kids have the option to disable the app. Tech support have suggested reinstalling the app with no explanation as to why permissions need to be accepted every time it updates.
