With advances in tech, cloud storage should be cheaper, larger, & easier, not smaller, more expensive, & more difficult. Especially when you pay $140-$170 for a frame, it should all be included. Now Nix decides to just change their terms? What started as a great idea, has now become a money grab. Don't waste your money on this, especially when shared cloud storage exists and apps that can broadcast pictures to your smart TV, for a more reasonable price, you probably are already paying for.

Bait and switch. Frames sold with specific benefits advertised on the box are now being moved to a paid subscription model. Frames that we purchased are now held hostage for basic features unless you start paying money. You will never own your frame, only rent it. Features and pricing may change any time and with little warning. I used to get them for family members so I could share family photos. I will never buy another one.

when I bought my nixplay photo frame, integration with Google photos was free. Now they want to charge me for features they offered when I paid for the product. Google don't charge for API access, there's no fair reason for the bait and switch. nixplay is not a company I'd choose to do business with again.
