UPDATE (Sep '23) - copying & pasting remains problematic, as is the inability to delete Notepad text files that have been imported from a (uSD-located) backup folder but were subsequently found to be blank. Sorry, Brad, I'm not sure what I've done wrong ... but this app appears nowadays to be failing me in so many ways compared to earlier versions :-( Regards: Guy

This is the only Notepad app I can use without getting annoyed by useless features or a cluttered interface. It does one thing and it does it well. The only thing I would add is the ability to create folders. I take all kind of notes from todo lists to recipes and it would be nice to be able to group files in folders. Another feature that would be useful would be the ability to export and import all notes for backup.

Wow! Perfect for me! I needed a text editor that could paste into web forms without formatting issues. This works perfectly. Saves on app close, dark theme, spellchecker works with it. I used to use emails and paste from them, but they always cause issues. This is perfect. Thank you, and it's free! It helps me write to a loved one in prison, thank you :-) (I have found a bug where the draft vanishes while the phone is updating, app closes and the draft is gone. Still luv the app though)
