Suddenly enemy is able to get instant strikes from the very first round. A little bit sus. Haven't won a game in the last 10 due to it mysteriously finding my ships every time. I'm all in favour of playing a decent opponent but this is obviously rigged. *EDIT in reply to dev* It's not just first strike, opponent can hit 3 of my ships in first round. That's not normal, to take out 60% of my fleet in 3 rounds. boom boom boom, sunk!

Hi Geoff, the chance to hit with the first shot is actually quite high (24%).EDIT: the first 6-7 shots stay above 20% hit chance. It happens much more often than many players think. It also depends on the fleet setup used. Write me an email to support@smuttlewerk.de and I answer in more detail (only 350 letters here).

This is a great game of the classic battleship. You can play against the computer with varying levels of difficulty, against random people (and against friends, but I haven't tried that). There are 3 different configurations of ships. The ads are tasteful, not excessive. There are a lot of bells & whistles: You earn colors for your ships as rewards, & it looks like you earn various looks for your ships if you play enough. Overall, a great experience.

Salvo Events are great, albeit long overdue - having Quick Match as the only way to battle random players online had grown tedious, so this is a much needed addition. Ads are too frequent and I've never seen as many as I do now. I understand they are necessary to keep the lights on and I wouldn't mind supporting the devs by paying to remove them, but for £6.99? No thanks, that's too high just to remove ads. £4.99 would be reasonable. Might start using an adblocker if this doesn't change!! 3/5★.

Thanks for the review ԀЇЅЅөlѴЇ_ 2.0! :-) We didn't change ad frequency for many years now. The ad networks change the length etc. and we always use the smalles limit available (if there is a limit to choose from). As to the price: this is a one-time payment. After removal, we basically let players play for free, while we sit on the server cost.
