Update 01.12.24. The stations mentioned in my original review below are now working.So a new look app and layout, unfortunately same issues still exist as with the previous incarnation. So many stations simply don't work. For example none of the stations from Global will play, so if you choose LBC, Heart, Smooth, Capital or Classic FM you are met by a wall of silence. I'm in the UK and the mobile version of this app works fine, so I don't understand why the Android TV version has so many issues.

App is broken. A web loading error appears when opened on an android tv. Used to work fine before.

loads of stations don't work in UK. So now I use VPN, for American stations. Then they work for me.
