Updated review: It's still, okay. My previously complaints about the terrible sound quality and terrible implementation of "Play next" have been rectified. There is a playback issue with no image. Sometimes it will play an ad, then the screen will go blank (but audio plays). Or you when watching an episode, the screen blanks when it starts to play an ad, and stays blank when it returns to the programme. To rectify you must then back out of the playback, then resume. (Multiple devices tested.)

Prime WAS my #1 app in the UK. Since moving to the ad supported mode despite being a Prime member I can barely stand it. The ads are infuriating and I'm wondering why I am paying to watch them when paying normally takes you out of the ad cycle. I'm catching up with a show then I'm going to have to leave it unless I'm watching something I have bought, therefore ad free. I refuse to be in a pay per view subscription AND STILL have to suffer ads.

Used to love the app but as always companies get greedy 🙄 unless you want to pay more money on top of your subscription you'll have ads plus a lot of stuff is now pay walled. Content you have to pay for is mixed in with stuff that is included. Honestly close to just cancelling it at this point, won't been surprised if it went the same way as Netflix.
