Probably the best TV UI of any streaming app. That said, the picture quality leaves a lot to be desired considering it's supposed to be at least 1080p. Possibly the worst of any streaming app. Artifacting is always visible and anything shot in a dark or smokey atmosphere looks like a 20 year old YouTube video! Edit 31/05: This review hasn't aged well! The new update/redesign is awful. Back down to 1* for you...

Netflix is Netflix, that's not what this review is about. It's about the app itself. It's a hot mess. Incredibly badly optimized, doing all the things you don't want it to. Android TVs are not powerful devices, so how about you first load the UI and all the components, before trying to play all the trailers? How about you don't hog up the main thread with god knows what? It's not that hard to make an app you can navigate while content loads in the background. I do that for a living.

Netflix app on the chromecast just freezes as soon as its opened and will allow no keylogs. Also there is no longer an option to cast from the android app to the chromcast even with paying the premium rate. I have tried all the troubleshooting solutions still to no avail. Based of the other reviews avaliable there is clearly a problem that netflix do not want to accept nor admit to. I hope they reslove these issues soon but untill then I'd recommend avoiding.
