This is a must-have when flying to and from AMS. Very sadly, though, in a recent update (version 11.18.2, build 7070775) they added a killswitch that blocks the app from running if you don't have Google Play installed/enabled. Please remove that killswitch!! Better yet, go back to how version 11.6.3 (7070720) was, which fully worked without Google Play Services, even the airport map.

I give the app 5 stars as it really helps me with critical information such as gate changes, timeslot security clearance and passport clearance. But with regards to signages, I will give it 2 stars as the signage to a nearby hotel CitizenM, caused many guests to take the route that leads to the busy road. We have no choice but to cross dangerously. It was only when I wanted to get back to the Airport Plaza that I realized there was a pathway but it was not shown in the signage.

The Schiphol app is more informative and accurate than on-the-ground information from screens and airport staff in other airports. when flying into AMS, I rely on the app to inform me about potential delays and other issues, it never lets me down!
