I'm not sure why this game gets such a high review. The only thing this game has done alright is the graphics and sound effects. The rest is executed poorly. Foremost the *paid* version is still full of ads. Whilst it doesn't force you to watch a video, there are a lot of in your face "upgrades" being offered to you, with a real money price. I understand that's the business model but should not be in a you face manner. Next, game play is bad. There is no game play design, no unit balance,etc.

It was good and challenging initially, but it became a pay to win after stage 30. I finished all 30 first stages on the very hard level with my heroes and towers set up but neither seem to work since level 31. The enemies are insanely tough, even the smaller ones. They force you to buy the other towers and heroes with this.

Great game also because the "pro" version was free ( it only allows you to claim ad rewards, without watching the ads). At a certain stage it becomes increasingly harder, pushing a lot more on the "pay to win" that most free games.
