I've been using Avast Cleanup and Avast Antivirus for years now. Never a problem. It's free if you don't mind it being ad supported. You'll only get like 1 ad per session, so it doesn't slam you with ads. I've actually taken advantage of a couple of them and were glad I saw the ad. Seriously, there's not a better free cleaner or antivirus out there and I've prob used a dozen over the years. 5 of 5 for me.

I purchased Avast Ultimate and was offered 'Cleanup' for free. I didn't really need it when it was free, and I need it even less now they expect me to pay for it. The cleanup features aren't that great, plus I dislike apps that are 'free' to start with but then they expect you to pay to continue using them. Personally, I'd rather do without it, thank you. Uninstalled and binned it.

Like most people who use the phone for work and games, I've had serious battery life issues. Having to keep going through setup to force stop background app tasks to improve gets tedious as most of the apps are used each day and half of them leave tasks running once ' closed'. This app hibernates these background tasks easily, no hassle. Once the background app tasks were shut down, battery life improved to an acceptable once per day charging cycle. For me, worth every penny!
