Deer My Friend - Nonogram

I normally don't leave reviews on apps, but oh my gosh, I am obsessed with this game. The graphics and colour schemes are so simplistic yet so aesthetically pleasing. I love how there are different chapters, each with an extract of the story. Creating a very immersive gameplay. Overall, I think it is the best nonogram app out there, couldnt rate it high enough.

Delightful game and graphics. Starts off pretty easy (if you've done nonograms before) but the difficulty does increase and vary. On the easier levels I like to not add the crosses as I go to keep things a little challenging. This game is a pleasure to look at - aesthetically pleasing, calming music, and storyline. A big plus is that it's not packed with ads so it doesn't take over the gameplay, and it doesn't try and force you to purchase add-ons 👍

Puzzles are good but the controls are really awkward. Using fingers for larger puzzles is imprecise, but the d-pad controls aren't good either. For example, if I've completed a row and want to quickly fill in all the Xs in it (I don't use autofill to make puzzles more challenging), previously placed Xs vanish when I hold down the X button. It's annoying. Also, sometimes I complete a puzzle correctly but a pair of rows don't register and I have to start over.
