On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.
As the Timekeeper, observer of eras, you are free to travel through these eras after each "Storm." With the aid of Sonetto, a powerful Arcanist and ally from the Foundation, your mission is to travel through eras to where the "Storm" is most active, find other Arcanists who can sense the coming "Storm," and save them from being "sifted out" of the timeline.

Love the game. However, unless you whale, don't expect to get every character. you have to research before you pull and see if they fit your team. I dislike how events are tied to discord, its kind of ridiculous to have to download a separate app for in-game rewards. The story is fully voiced and dramatic, but you can see it's just going to be dragged on. I'm actually no longer interested. The art style is brilliant, animations leave an oomph impression, and big numbers are a joy to see.

I loveee the story, character designs, voices, artstyle, and gameplay in r1999, however there are some downsides I hope can be changed or fixed. 1)Sweep option for levels that are already completed. Replaying is such a waste of time. 2)Leveling up is way too costly after Insight lvl II. It becomes grindy, repetitive, and boring. 3)Might just be me but,, I think unilogs are a little bit expensive? The game is still F2P friendly tho, but it will be very grindy if you want to max your characters.

Game deserves more recognition. To be honest the gameplay is pretty simple for a card game even for some the complex character kits it hardly matters when a well built meta character or 2 can easily clear even late game content. That being said, you probably shouldn't play this game for a mind numbing challenge more than you should play it for the god-tier animation, character design, and well thought story. It's a gacha experience like no other in that regard and I would always recommend this.
