Cannot pay for my order online - tried all the available payment methods, it returns an error, and the money is reserved on my card. Ended up with over 400£ held and no order placed, having to wait until they release it. Support said my card was the problem, tried other cards and PayPal, with the same results, just more money went into hold on my account.

Absolutely abysmal. 90% of the time, whatever you try to buy - no matter what it is or what option you choose, be it delivery or pick up, as soon as you try to checkout, you get a "sorry, there's been an error, please try again later." This has been consistent over at least 16 months as I've had the app since Christmas 2020, there's been multiple updates, yet the same issue persists. I'll no longer shop with Argos again after today and I'm cancelling my card with them. So unreliable.

Use this for browsing only. It should be called the catalogue App because it has constant issues with purchasing products. From being unable to update or add products to cart, unable to check stock or worse simply completing your order right near the end of the process. Edit: still the same after months and months of usage. Try to checkout and it gives an error to try later. Useless I'm afraid.
