Update: The calendar finally started working but stopped again. I haven't been able to use it since January. It says, "There was an error loading your calendar." Once again, I have signed out and back in. Then, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I gave it 2 stars because the calendar does not work. It just keeps telling me there was an error in loading my students calendar. I have refreshed it, Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I still cannot get the calendar to work.

Apparently fixing broken features in the app is not available for K-12 users. The issue I experienced was never corrected, actually got worse after I started a ticket for help, and my follow up email for more information was ignored completely. If there are any other K-12 districts considering using Canvas to support their students, I don't recommend it as a parent at all.

Alerts don't work. Says error. You need to manually check every class/assignment to see if they have a new one, have been submitted, and grade received. Last semester 100+ alerts came through last week of school at same time. One student alerts work and not calendar, other students calendar works but not alerts. 🤯 Hopefully problem gets fixed. Have submitted multiple requests.
