About this app

You can use the Vy app to quickly find departures for journeys by train, bus, metro, tram and boat across Norway. You can buy tickets from Vy and other transport companies such as Go-Ahead, SJ, Ruter, Kolumbus, Skyss and Brakar. It should always be easy to make the eco-friendly choice when travelling, so the Vy app also lets you:

· See relevant suggested itineraries in the journey planner – including how long it takes to walk or bike
· Get real-time information on all departures
· Receive push notifications about delays and cancellations affecting your journey
· View your tickets and present your ticket for inspection
· Check how full each carriage on your train is
· Save your favourite routes and places that you frequently visit
· Book taxis across much of the country
· Listen to audiobooks and podcasts, and read newspapers and magazines

Thank you for travelling by public transport. Every journey counts!

Not very good. First off, I am aparently a robot for typing to fast and the app keeps blocking me. You cannot buy a return ticket in one go, you need to buy them separately. You cannot buy a week ticket. There's a 10 one way ticket package that costs as much as the monthly ticket. It's quite disappointing to say the least.

Hi, and thanks for the feedback. You don't say anything about where you are traveling and how (bus/train). We do offer several of the things you mention though. May we ask you to send us a DM in social media next time? And we'll help!

oh you want details? well, for starters, it is an extremely slow app with loads and loads of loading. Furthermore, it crashes for no apparent reason. I've also experienced on multiple occasions that the app just doesn't find routes. "There's been an error" is a common occurance. Check the coding, fix the bugs, and do maintenance, it will spare everyone the time. it's clearly a half-assed app, where the concern was developing it asap, as opposed to making it run smoothly

Hi, it's not easy to comment as you leave no details about why you think that.

After an update the routes section hides the routes in a tab. One has to click on each of them to see the timetable and statuses. Before it used to show you each of your favorited routes when you went to the app. You could manually hide them but they were automatically shown to you. one more minus is there is no widget to add your routes to the home screen so you can check them on the fly.

Hi thanks for the feedback. May we ask you to send us a message on social media, and we'll have a look at this with you?

What’s new

We’ve refreshed the summary screen in the purchase flow and made adjustments to the ‘Show ticket’ button. The Explore screen has also received a few small improvements.
