A Better Routeplanner (ABRP)

I have made a couple of trips with it and have been very pleased with the results. My car is a 2017 Chevy Bolt. I use a Bluetooth Low Energy OBD dongle. This is very important if you want accurate information from the app. Also don't connect any other apps to this dongle as this will slow the ABRP app response time. I also use Android Auto. If you connect to the app with these connection your information is very accurate. On long trips give the app time to adjust to current conditions, wind etc.

The concept is very good. I like that I can see the charging availability during my route. It's a shame that the app crashed twice during a route via Android Auto causing me to stop the car both times on the motorway to sort it out. also I couldn't adjust my battery percentage on the infotainment system. I had to go on my phone (very laggy) which defeats the object.

I use ABRP on occasions via a subscription, and find it useful for predictive range especially when hooked up with a dongle for live battery readings during a long journey. I use it on the car's own infotainment screen via Android Auto. I would prefer an option to have it also display the planned route overview status whilst it's actually navigating along with a reminder of the suggested charge percentage to be added for the upcoming charge stop, rather than exit the navigation to check.
