This doesn't always work correctly and it's off a bit . Alot of the food I eat isn't on here and I haven't figured out how to do the scanning and pictures yet . I guess I need to download something for the pictures and scanner. But as a overall it does work just not great. But it does give you something to go by to be accountable with your calories, fat, protein, and carbs .

Great app for tracking, but it needs some options. 1 - The ability to enter goals by grams/weight instead of just %. I want to consume X# of protein grams, X# of carb grams & X# of fat grams. 2 - Provide macros based on goals, not just current consumption %. So if I want to consume 120 grams of protein, show what % of my goal I have met. 3 - The ability to save favorite meals that I consume often and enter them all at once. 4- There was a separate table to look up restaurants and enter a meal.

Fantastic way to keep track of your calories, plan balanced meals and even create recipes which can be portioned out with calorie counts. The app also allows for new, or shop-bought items to be registered. In addition to individual or whole food items (Eg. raw spinach), Nutritionix has catalogued the calorific and nutritional value of popular restaurant, chain food and brand names foodstuffs. The app also allows for you to add these items using different measurement forms, and much more!
