I love Sonic CD but the mobile version is annoying. There is no chance you are getting all the time stones without a controller. The mobile version doesn't have the sound selection mode, but rather, you need to complete all levels un under 20 minutes, just to unlock the special stages, that are already extremely hard but you have to complete them all in under 15 minutes (I think). It's overall a good game if you are just a casual player.

Love this game with a passion. One of the best of the Classic Sonic titles and really fun to explore and replay no matter what version it may be. As for this version specifically, really handy gameplay features are added here such as; options between OG and Genesis style Spin-dash, US and Japanese soundtracks and the inclusion of Tails. These add alot to the experience maintaining the charm this game has. Some features are inaccessible for me personally, and you'll encounter some ads. Good port.

Honestly, I don't see what people have against this game. I bought the ad free version of the game right away because I can't stand ads, and from there it was smooth sailing. Everything about the game is perfect, including the option to switch from the inferior US soundtrack to the cooler, better Japanese soundtrack. Anyone complaining that the bosses are too hard are just bad at the game. They are BOSSES. They are supposed to be difficult, also, the special stages are really cool! 5 stars.
