Since the update, the Android app fails to launch when either my XM5s or CF100s connect. While the CF100s have limited functionality in the app, the dynamic ANC isn't working on the XM5s so what is the point of the app? I even have an Xperia 1V on the latest software. Also, the 'intelligent' switch off feature when you remove the headphones doesn't work without the app so it just wastes battery and sits playing music to itself if you don't stop Spotify! Fix this and the score will improve.

Tries to be fancy with audio device switching, but it's a constant dumpster fire. The headset is always connected to a random variety of my devices, with audio/mic/phone/music randomly allocated between all of them, with no clear or easy control of which device gets what. And even if you get it stable on one device, once you switch to sheer another, the house of cards crumbles. So much easier before we had apps. And how come the Sony headphones app isn't called "Sony headphones"? Hard to find.

The app is generally fine. Does everything it should. It also has the bloat you've come to expect from these kinds of apps. Why would I care about an achievement for listening with my earbuds? What marketing intern came up with that slam dunk? I wish I could opt out of like half the app. It's been so much easier to use. There's so much going on that it makes it hard to sift through the noise.
