Honestly a pretty good game. It's a simple but fun and challenging concept. Two things are keeping it from 5 stars, and it's not adds. Simplest issue is the daily game feature being bugged. No idea what's wrong with it, but might be fine to remove it. The big issue is the challenges to unlock customers. It's a lot of rng, not only in the cards you need, but what the goal will be to begin with. Some literally aren't doable without insane amounts of luck or hours of playtime, which sucks.

Miracle Merchant might initially seem like a simple solitaire game, albeit a really gorgeous one. After a few games, however, it begins to reveal its true depth. The game's rules are simple. You have a stack each of red, yellow, green and blue ingredient cards. You mix potions for customers by playing combinations of four cards, at least one of which must match the colour requested by the customer. You get a score for each potion according to the total numeric value of the cards played. Each card has a starting value of 1, but cards can apply bonuses to other cards depending on how you position them and the order in which you play them. Black cards, of which there are three in each stack, subtract from a potion's score, yet some customers actually demand these as the main ingredient in their potions. You'll end up trying to balance two goals - maximize your score for each potion, while keeping your options open for the next This element of strategy makes the game remarkably compelling. As with any solitaire game, you will lose more than you win, but there's an ineffable "just one more go" factor that keeps you coming back for more. Absolutely marvellous.

Fantastic game!! Super fun and not impossibly challenging - I absolutely recommend. Two small hangups: you do have to sit through a long ad every few games; and since the latest update as of August, there's now a lengthy frozen pause between the end of the round and the results. But I understand that the app needs revenue and updates come and go. Definitely give it a shot.
