About this app

The Mobile Bank application from SpareBank 1 gives you easy access to the most used banking and insurance services when you are on the go. In addition, the app gives you an easy way to contact us.

The Mobile Bank app provides full control over your accounts, cards, payments, savings, loans and insurance policies - and of course, you can order a variety of services and products. We will launch new services throughout the year. The app also includes insurance claims, your travel insurance card and you can contact our real estate broker.

The Mobile Bank must be activated with BankID. After activation you can use a self made PIN or fingerprint to sign in.

15.07.2023: eFaktura section is extremely disorganized. To edit a payment you have to scroll past the long list of eFaktura all the way down to the FAQ, then find the link in there. Even so, the eFaktura isn't included in the new list. Edit 05.05.2025: eFaktura messages no longer appear. Recommend setting external reminders for any regular payments and processing them manually instead of trusting the bank's broken systems.

Thanks for taking time out to write us a feedback. To edit an eFaktura, the easiest way is to do this from the overview-page as you click to approve it. If you already have approved it, you can find and edit it in your payment register. When it comes to "eFaktura messages", I'm not quite sure what you mean. Can you please elaborate?

Suddenly the app asks you to update and denied access to your bank accounts which can create unnecessary bad situations for travellers, sick people or emergencies. The customer should be able to bypass the update and access their account.

We apologise for the inconvenice and understand this can be frustrating. At some point, we unfortunately need our app-users to update their software in order for the app to work as intended. Best regards, SpareBank 1.

No warning when a payment is rejected (A warning by email and Android notification should be basic). When you try to set up a warning to do so (which is of course not automatically set up), the bank only offers Sms/text warnings, which will cost you for each text and isn't clearly stated (you need to click on the tiny line about detailed cost below to actually find out there is a price per text). Ludicrously poor anti-consumer service.
