About this app

Warning: Nightly is an unstable testing and development platform. By default, Firefox Nightly automatically sends data to Mozilla — and sometimes our partners — to help us handle problems and try ideas. Learn what is shared: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/#pre-release

Firefox Nightly gets updated every day and is designed to showcase the more experimental builds of Firefox. The Nightly channel allows users to experience the newest Firefox innovations in an unstable environment and provide feedback on features and performance to help determine what makes the final release.

BILLIONAIRE FREE FOR 20+ YEARS
The Firefox browser was created in 2004 by Mozilla as a faster, more private browser with more customizable features than web browsers like Internet Explorer. Today, we are still not-for-profit, still not owned by any billionaires and still working to make the internet — and the time you spend on it — better. 2025-03-21 updated app. Now sending crash notifications even when it isn't running! Closing the app does nothing - seconds later there's another notification. Had to force stop it. Can't restart it - immediately get crash notifications again. Seems related to presence of standard FF on phone - force stopping *that* made notifications stop (but it wasn't even running to start with, it had simply been updated).

After so many years, probably close to 2 decades, I'm abandoning all Firefox products and sadly moving to something that does not have problems with password managers... I am tired of that battle to make Last Pass work properly or Bitwarden work properly. This has been an issue for years. On multiple platforms, phones, browsers and password managers. Firefox just refuses to work properly with them. No. It is not me. I asked and checked, and searched and truly tried everything.

Overall really nice. Issue: sharing links in other apps doesn't carry the page name, just the URL (Microsoft to do). Issue: closing task leaves 'tab closed/undo' strip along bottom of the screen. Idea: enable left/right despite to go forward/back in browsing history. Idea: include recent/history list in New tab. Idea: show recent/common sharing app in the menu (like main app/other browsers).
